I have driven my 2004 E55 fewer than 2k and now am experiencing problems starting. The engine turns over easily but it as if the starter won't disengage. Any ideas on what I can do.

I think the problem is with the alternator.

Well the problem can be of the alternator but to know it properly ask the dealer or check in the site mentioning your problem this can help you.
