Color Combinations; Care to Help?
At present there are no less than twenty C63's available on the East Coast for immediate delivery. The majority of them, of which I'm not too fond of, are standard black.
I'm getting close to making a decision and if anyone cares to comment please do so.
1) Arctic white with black leather and black maple wood trim.
2) Obsidian black with black leather and burl walnut wood trim.
3) Black with Black/Sahara Beige leather and burl walnut wood trim.
4) Arctic white with Sahara Beige/Black leather (trim unknown, waiting on window sticker.)
As far as options each car meets the requirements I'm looking for and as far as the black leather being hot in the summer that's not an issue.
Anyone know the most popular combination?
Thanks,
Mike Maggio

Dear Mike:
I haven't seen any "bad' combinations. It simply looks fabulous no matter what you choose. While I love black with Sahara (very dramatic) I just can't do another black car. It's more trouble than a mistress... or so I've been told. Plus it is very hot in the summer where I live. My compromise was to order Steel grey (to match my eyes) and Ash interior (to go with my hair color). I also got the black maple trim.
It was tough making a decision. I drove 900 miles to four dealerships spread between San Jose and Newport Beach so I would know for sure what things looked like. The steel grey just seemed perfect. It's like the old anthracite grey but with a hint of blue. While I like the Sahara interior very much, it just didn't seem to work with the steel grey as well as the Ash grey. Anyway, that's our choice, and I'm counting the days!
PS- The Ash grey interior has a grey and black dashboard, while the Sahara interior has a completely black dashboard.

hey Mike, I too am getting this car in may and i am for sure going black on black. I think you should go with the obsidian black, its way more bad ass and wont get dirty like white. Do you know how much more it is to get that black instead of the standard black??

Thanks,
If I go with the black with Sahara I'll have the exterior detailed every six weeks or so. My days of "wax on, wax off" are long over.
I have yet to see a white with Sahara; is it too "Miami Vice?"

I'm a former Army Ranger, (1st Battalion, 75th Infantry, Fort Stewart Georgia, 1974-1980) Drill Sergeant, First Sergeant and Sergeant Major.
I think the black paint would only make me a "badder bad ass."
Thanks

Dear C60-3:
I have another shot of how the grey (Ash) seats look from the back, and another of how the Sahara beige looks in case you haven't seen it.
I'm also including a picture of a non-leather interior. If you don't order the Nappa leather upgrade, the seats are MB-Tex with cloth inserts.
