Default Black Series - US and EU Models?

I was wondering if there are two specs of the Black Series.

It seems that all the ones I drool over from America have lovely big lush leather seats and the trademark folded leather door inserts.

However, when I look at ones on autotrader uk and European sites, they appear to have those Recaros and the carbon fibre door inserts.

This is strange to me as I thought the whole point of the Black Series was to get rid of all the luxuries to make it as light as possible.

This has lead me to think there are two specs of the car, a US spec which is more luxurious and an EU spec which is more track orientated. Am I right?

Fabulous pics!
You are correct the specs are different because as I understand it the European Recaro seats do not meet N American safety regs.I did not appreciate the difference in the doors, though.

Hi guys.

Yeah, it looks like they left the doors alone.
In which case they are the 63 AMG doors.

The door cards at least anyway.

I spotted a CLK Black Series the other day.

I managed to chat to the guy and he let me take some snaps!

This is a UK/ European model.

Interestingly, this is also the very CLK Black that featured on TopGear!
