Oil Temperature problem

Hope someone can help me here, not sure if the senor is malfunction. My 2007 E63 was running for more than an hour and the oil temperature will drop from 89 to 72, 73....back to 87 sometimes 90 but it will go back to 77 or something. Does anyone have this problem ?

This happens very often now. Like yesterday it was fine for a while, but then once I drive the car hard, all in a sudden you will see from 97 to 75...etc.

Just saw your video.

Yeah, that is pretty strange behaviour.

I'd be inclined to take it into your nearest workshop.

There's gotta be a problem with the sensor or something.

There's no way that your engine oil temperature is fluctuating as your read-out is suggesting.

Yeah, it doesn't sound like it can be much more than that.
